Process

Right from the very beginning of any photography project, our studio team pulls together to make sure that they understand all aspects of the job before we even begin to consider taking the first shot. Our tried and tested process, explained below, guarantees a smooth and efficient turnaround every time with top quality images guaranteed, hassle free!

Listed below is the process that makes Prodoto’s food service the best in the business:

  1. The First Step – One of our Account Managers will speak with you on the phone, or in person, with regard to your shoot, covering timescales, shoot procedures, food stylists and turnaround times. A no obligation quote will then be sent from our bespoke system, with a full cost breakdown.

  2. Booking-In – A shoot and production slot will be allocated to suit your timescales, and arrangements made for transportation of your products.

  3. Pre-Shoot Preparations – On receipt of your products, they are immediately logged onto our tracking database to ensure an efficient workflow process. They are then prepared and stored applicably.

  4. The Shoot – One of our food photographers, working with a food stylist, will then begin photographing. You are welcome to be present to oversee and approve your images, which we highly recommend in this instance. Alternatively, your shots may be approved online.

  5. Finishing Touches – Your images are then taken through the in-house post production process, where the finishing touches and quality control checks are made. All images are supplied ready for print and web use.

  6. Download Images – You will then be issued a unique client access code which will allow you to view and download your images direct from our website. A CD containing hi-res, low-res and tiff images will also be dispatched.
